TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment :
50% deposit payable upfront and balance on or before arrival. Keys to units will not be handed over unless full payment has been made.
Cancellations :
Kindly note that after reservations have been confirmed and accepted no refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures or cancellations and the deposit paid will be forfeited as a reservation service fee. If apartments are vacated before contracted departure date, rentals will not be refunded.
Check In And Out:
Check in time : 14h00 (or earlier if unit is ready)
Check out time : 09h00 (failure to check out after 9 am will result in an extra night’s charge)
Breakage and disturbance deposit:
Due to problems in the past, a breakage and disturbance deposit is payable on arrival, which will be refunded on departure, provided all is in order and TV remotes and towels (where applicable) have been returned to reception.
Parking:
Where possible we have a parking bay allocated for each unit, as well as parking in the garden. We ask you to please bear with us during busy times.
Visitors:
The facilities are strictly for paying guests only. No visitors allowed unless approved by management.
Servicing Of Units & Towels:
Units will be partly serviced daily (except for Sundays and Public Holidays) for removal of full rubbish bags and change of bath mats if needed. Servicing does NOT include making up of beds or washing dishes.
Clean towels are provided on arrival only (self catering flats only) and are to be returned on departure.
Please ensure that the dishes are washed and packed away when checking out. If not, a fee of R50 will be deducted from your breakage/disturbance deposit.
Laundry Service:
There is a daily pick up and drop off laundry service at reasonable rates. Please enquire at reception for further information.
Supplies On Arrival:
Every self-catering apartment will have a complimentary starter supply of toilet paper, small soap, tea, coffee and sugar. Please note that this is a mere courtesy and we do not re-supply these items.
Tv Channels And Dvd’s:
We have 2 x DSTV Channels as well as all the local channels (SABC 1,2,3, etv). The one DSTV channel is controlled by the TV in the main reception lounge. Please advise reception if you are watching a movie or wish to watch sports but please understand that we have to cater for all guests and there might be times where we are unable to comply with everyone’s requests. The other DSTV channel is the owners personal channel and whilst it will be available on your TV, it is up to their discretion to change that channel.
DVD’s are available at reception for a nominal deposit.
Smoking:
Ansteys has a strict NO SMOKING policy in all flats and communal living areas. Please do not discard cigarette butts in pot plants and in the garden, use the ashtrays provided.
Noise And Disturbance:
We are a residential establishment in a quiet, peaceful area. It is important that our guests are respectful to each other and our neighbours and therefore we request that there be no loud music or noise after 10.00 pm and that only paying guests may be in the flats in the evenings after 10 pm.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ANSTEYS IS NOT A PARTY VENUE – THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND WE CANNOT ALLOW LOUD NOISE AND MUSIC OUT OF CONSIDERATION TO OUR NEIGHBOURS AND OTHER PAYING GUESTS.
Tv, Lights And Water:
Please ensure that the TV, lights and fans in your flat are switched off and that all taps are closed properly when you leave your flat (we are trying our bit for the environment). Please check your outside lights as well.
Swimming Pool:
The use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. Children under the age of 12 years and non-swimmers are to be supervised by adults at all times.
WE SINCERELY APPRECIATE YOUR CO-OPERATION.
SHOULD YOU NOT ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOUR BREAKAGE AND DISTURBANCE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED. IF THE NOISE AND DISTURBANCE PERSISTS DESPITE WARNINGS FROM MANAGEMENT, YOU WILL BE EVICTED.
